One fact is that the sun is actually a star, and it gives off light and heat that helps us see and stay warm on Earth. So even though the sun is in space, it’s the reason why we can see things and it’s not dark all the time. So when someone asks why the sun is in space but space is still dark, it’s because the sun is like the only flashlight in a really big room, and without it, everything would be dark.
