Photosynthesis is like a factory that plants use to make their own food. The factory takes sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide, and it turns them into food for the plant. It’s kind of like a cooking recipe! The food the plant makes is called glucose. Fun fact: plants use about 6 molecules of carbon dioxide for every one molecule of glucose they make!
